Welcome to the HMRT website

Our AGM will be held in the Main Hall of St Mary's Parish Church in Hampton, on Tuesday 19 October, 7.30pm, after an enforced break since the previous AGM of 7 May 2019. The committee has continued to meet remotely under the chairmanship of Hampton Cllr Suzette Nicholson. All are welcome to attend the AGM, and in so doing join HMRT- fee £5.

Following the business of the meeting, there will be some refreshments and a presentation of short films from the Panorama of the Thames project, with John Inglis and Jill Sanders. There will also be copies for sale (£25) of the book from the project, A Riverside View of Georgian London, featuring a unique 1829 panorama published by Samuel Leigh of both banks of the Thames from Richmond to Westminster. The new imprint, based on a digital restoration of the 1829 original, includes a wealth of information about riverbank features.
